Alone Together a Guitar Duo - Joshua Jacobson & todd Smith Friday 21 @ 6PM

Alone Together is looking forward to playing at your place this coming Friday!  Attached is word document that contains their bio. and a picture of them at your restaurant.

Alone Together is a meeting of two guitarists. A meeting of two open minded individuals who share a huge amount of love for music. We are learning and growing every time we play together. We play songs from the standards repertoire, old American tunes, and tunes from our idols. We aim to share whatever inspires us and hopefully create an experience for the listener that is also inspiring for them.

Todd Smith grew up in the Bellingham, WA area and attended Western Washington University. While there he studied classical guitar with Prof. David Feingold and composition with Drs. Roger Briggs, Bruce Hamilton, and Lesley Sommer. He now works as a music instructor at WWU. Todd was also part of a successful group known as Savage Henry during his early years.

Joshua Jacobson grew up in New York (Upstate) where he studied music in college there at SUNY Plattsburgh. While attending SUNY Plattsburgh he studied privately with Trombonist Rick Davies, Trumpeter Herm Matlock, Guitarist Michael Fratino and also performed in the jazz ensembles there. He relocated west in 2008 and since then has continued studies with Seattle Bassist Steve Kim, Seattle guitarist Ron Peters and performed at The Mix in South Seattle with the Shoreline Community College Jazz Ensemble.
